Attendance &

Cancellation Policy

MISSED CLASS POLICY

We do guarantee make-up classes. Due to the size of our program, it is not feasible for us to guarantee make-up classes. We do try to accommodate them when we can. Missed lessons are not credited or refunded. Please email us if you would like to be added to the make-up class list and we will try to find you a make-up class.

Illness Policy: For the safety and respect of other students and our staff, please do not attend class if your child is ill.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION on CLIENT CANCELLATIONS

While AMI Swim School will do everything possible to find the perfect fit for you, it is your responsibility to schedule your lessons at a time that fits your child’s schedule. If you need to withdraw your child for an extended period of time due to an unexpected long term injury or illness or a move out of state, please call or email the office for assistance.

Refund Policy:

Full Refund: cancellations made at least 2 full weeks prior to the first day of the session.

50% Refund: cancellations made less than 2 full weeks prior to the first day of the session.

No Refund: cancellations made after the first day of the session.

AMI SWIM SCHOOL CANCELLATIONS

If AMI Swim School must cancel a class, we will issue a refund for the class. In the event we experience a teacher illness or a problem with a pool/rental facility, we will make every effort to contact you prior to your class. However we may not be able to let you know until class time. If a substitute teacher is available, the class will be taught as scheduled and no refund will be given.

Please note: AMI Swim School reserves the right to cancel / change certain class times or instructors as deemed necessary.

HOLIDAYS

Makeup lessons will not be offered for holidays during which AMI Swim School schedules and conducts classes.

Pool Contamination

If your child is not potty trained, a swim diaper is required. Pool contamination incidents, depending on the type, can cost over $1,000 and can cause a pool closure for 24-48 hours. If your child has 2 pool contamination incidents within a session, you're child will need to take a break from the program for the remainder of the session and a refund will not be issued.  If your child's class is cancelled due to a pool contamination incident from another student, a refund will be issued for their lost class.
